Macbook Pro 15.4 inch LED glossy display, 2.8 GHz Core2Duo Unibody.320 Gb 7200 rpm Hard Drive. 8 Gb RAM. Two video cards (one for low power consumption and one for intensive video usage): NVDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512 Mb and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. 1440 x 900 native resolution.


85 W MagSafe Power Adapter. Battery replaced in October 2010.

1 Express Card Slot. Two USB 2.0 ports. 1 Firewire 800 Port.

Comes with a recovery DVD for Mac OS Leopard (10.5.5). I can put Snow Leopard or Lion on it for you.

This computer IS NOT in perfect condition. It is sold AS IS. Here are the defects :
- The Ethernet port is not working and is not fixable since the entire main board would have to be replaced. However, network and Internet can be accessed using Wi-Fi.
- The left fan is extremely noisy. This can be replaced by Apple, but the repair can be expensive. However, Ifixit.com sells a replacement fan for $50 US and it is not that hard to install.
- The DVD-RW optical drive is not working. If you absolutely need one, it can be replaced by Apple, but the repair can be expensive. However, ifixit.com sells a replacement optical drive for $200 USD and it is quite easy to replace.

If you decide to replace the fan (I would), and/or the optical drive, I can install the replacement parts for you as I am used to fix Mac laptops. You will only have to pay for the replacement part. I will do the installation for you.

Originally paid $2,857 plus I added extra memory and replaced the battery.
